PICSTORY: eye misery (conjunctivitis?)

2 days ago i woke up with my right eye feeling well puffy, slightly itchy and relatively stuck together. i thought perhaps i’d slept on it, but then it worsened throughout the day and yesterday was no better. a load of gunk nastiness appeared also.

today it’s got to the point of annoyance and distraction, so i’ve bitten the bullet and accepted what it probably is. it’s especially odd for me as i’ve never had this; all through my childhood it was my cousin who got stuff like styes etc, and i’ve always taken a right battering but stayed on track - i’ve brutalised my eyes in the past, i’ve lacerated them, i’ve put nail polish remover in them, i’ve had dental cement casts taken of both and i regularly ram 4mm of solid black plastic in them that cover the entire eyeball, but this condition has come out of the blue it seems.

the pictures here don’t really do it justice, as i’m a lot more red than shown.

i’ve bought this stuff just now from boots, i have to keep it refrigerated between 2 and 8 degrees and use it once every 2 hours for 2 days, then once every 4 hours for another 2. but get this - i just made the first application and i can taste it down the back of my throat. that was extremely odd, even though it makes sense.

H

FOOTNOTE:

i would just like to add, the fridge backdrop shown in the last picture is not mine, i’m simply storing the medication where i am today, i do not use, advocate the use of or am linked in any way with users of utterly butterly.

despite the unavoidable use of the fridge in question, i do not in general socialise with those who have been known to use butter related products, whether recreational or medicinal, and my publicist has advised me that should anyone wish to take the matter further then an affidavit confirming the same can be supplied and the matter resolved without contentious legal dispute.

the same also applies to those who currently use bread, or who are listed on the toast offenders register.

it's only gone and got worse...

lets hope that's just part of the treatment.

this 'keeping it cooled' business is proving tricky, too. i'm basically having to fridge-hop.

Sounds like something you do to a hooker, but not your eyes.

Ignorance is not bliss. Ignorance only hides the truth. And the longer that truth has to hide, the more it stings when it makes itself known.

i mean, i don't even have one, but... if she did, she'd have lovely eyes, and you're not having them
