Silly question - what kind of bed do you own?

So i've head my bed for years and i wake up a billion times at night. it's sinking in the middle and i figure that's a good sign to 'get a new one.'

Went to a few matress stores and the best bed i've tried was damn Tempurpedic. Of course, i'm giong to keep this thing for another 10 years lol, so i need something good. I figure i'll get the adjustable feature too (with massage), because my lady digs that sorta thing

Not sure if i'll commit because it's close to $4k, but i figure i need to invest highly in a place where i'll be 8 hours a night, and my day is dictated how well that 8 hours goes

So what kind of beds do you all have?

Ramen!

Dude...

Compare AngelBeds Mattresses to Tempur-Pedic® Mattresses -

Same stuff at the Tempur Pedic, but a LOT less money.
Best. Mattress. Ever!

(get your own foundation though, not a box spring. The foundations this company sells suck, and after a month or so they start to sag, I had to put plywood under it to keep it solid)

But the mattresses are fucking incredible. It feels like i'm sleeping on air, the pressure on my body is even throughout, and the mattress seems to disappear from under me, so to speak.

I got the "Luxury" full size, Tempur pedic price: $2,100, Angel Beds price: $900

(they have the adjustable ones too)

You shake your ass but you're already dead.

I'll read some reviews.

I'm looking for a company that will be around in 10 years to actually fulfill their warranty (not that the brand you suggested wouldn't, but I mean in general)

We have a sleep number bed. We're going to get a King soon, and we'll get a sleep number bed then too.

I checked out a few sleep number beds, and I just couldn't get used to them. Maybe I didn't find 'my' number, but I went through the spectrum that I found more initially comfortable.

Surprisingly, I laid down on a tempur bed and IMMEDIATELY hated it. the sales guy said, "just lie down for a few mins," and so I did. I fell asleep in the store . I woke up and I couldn't even tell I was lying down.

They had a few knockoffs, but they were still pricey. While I found the bed uber comfortable, I was more impressed with the nice warranty. If ANYTHING goes wrong, they will send me a new mattress or adjuster. I'm sure there are other companies that have similar warranties, but I'm questionable about the companies long-term reliability and staying in business. a warranty is no good if they go bankrupt or something.

I checked out dormia, which I liked a lot as well, but about 4-5 stores are getting rid of their dormia products, so I assume that can't be a good sign that they'll be sticking around for the long haul

Origanally posted by Variant - Pulled from the river Styx, the mighty black oar of doom in hand! I certainly would not call this particular guitar an "axe" more like a club. Noodles' KxK would run through an emo, spilling his insides for a quick death, this blunt mace would bludgeon the unfortunate effeminate soul, breaking bones, and causing internal bleeding to lead only to a slow, painful death

Yeah, they respond to your body heat. They're firm when you lie down, but after about 30-50 seconds, it dissapears.

It's wonderful! Even if knock off brands (Such as the angel beds brand I own) didn't exist... It would still be worth every penny.

Buy a Hästens bed.

The only bad thing about them is that they're REALLY expensive ($4000 for the cheapest one).

Now I lay me down to sleep
Blah, blah, blah my soul to keep
If I die before I wake
I'll go to hell for heaven's sake

actually i read about them

We decided to get the tempurpedic. We drove around to about 8-9 different mattress places the last fwe weeks and NONE of the other foam mattresses compared to the tempurpedic. They were comfy, but they didn't have that 'feel' that we got with the tempur material. we got a queen with adjustable base . It will be here tomorrow

I checked out angel beds, but no one sells them in a store around here and I didn't want to buy one blindly (plus, they weren't that much cheaper. the adjustable base prices were the same for either company).
