Injured my back

Hey guys for the past few weeks I haven't been able to do any weight lifting, other than the stuff I lift at work (40/50 pounds of meat sometimes) because my back hurts after I've been sitting down for a while. At first I thought I pulled a muscle but I'm starting to think it's something else. I try resting on my back which helps, but it starts up again when I go to stand up.

what the hell can I do to sort this out? I'm getting frustrated that I can't do any weight lifting in case I hurt myself even more.

Have you been to a doctor yet? If not, sounds like it might be time to go .
