I was sick. I had a 'wonderful' thing called oral Mucositis. This is the second time I've had it.

You feeling better now? I sure as shit hope so. For some reason, that illness reminded me of a time I got really, really sick. I thought I may die. I ended up losing almost 20 pounds in just 2 weeks, and the lining of my stomach was eaten away by my stomach acids. It was horrible. Milk, even water, if I tried to drink them, felt like someone poured boiling lava into my stomach. I could barely eat or drink for almost a month.

My mom had really bad mucositis when she had the high-dose chemo right before her stem cell transplant. She was even taking a new drug that's supposed to minimize the effects of mucositis... she didn't even want to know how crappy she would have felt without the drug.

I hope you're feeling better soon. And you WILL feel better.
