My hands smell like...

Hickory?

It's some pretty potent stuff. Just spent the past two hours preparing some jerky. It's currently sitting in marinade and will start on the dehydrator around in about 3 hours. I ended up taking a cheap way out and went for a bottle of Lawry's Caribbean Jerk marinade and then added some Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke.

Anyone else here ever make some jerky before? I'd be interested in some recipes for the next time I attempt this.

I was tempted to try that, but was a little unsure about the presence of honey in the recipe. I'll definitely give that a try next time.
