It's great to get to sleep in my own bed.

I resurected this thread because I just got the bill for the hospital stay.

4 days in a semi-private room for a grand total of $25,000 dollars!!

And $20,000 of that was for the chemo drugs.

Back in June when I was diagnosed, I battled my insurance company over every step of treatment. Well; when they found out I was going into the hospital, they sent me a registered letter informing me that that were dropping my policy. Luckily my mom had the forsight to have me apply for medicaid as soon as I was diagnosed. Today I got a letter telling me I was approved and that Medicaid would cover my medical bills.

I wonder if there's grounds for action against them? Stupid fucking insurance companies.
