I have this big thing for hot sauce - given a REALLY good one (Desert Petter Trading Company does an awesome one that I haven't been able to find locally since I bought my first bottle, and I'm almost out :/), I've been known to snack on a good crusty loaf of bread, tearing off small chunks and pouring a couple good-sized drops of hot sauce on it ad repeating.

Also, while I'm Italian and should probably be shot for this, when doing barbecue I've been known to have elbow macaroni with barecue sauce on it.

And I've definitely had my share of leftover-pasta breakfasts before...

I got yelled at for putting Habenaro sauce on chocolate chip cookies. Man that was good! Also, my friend made a cherry habenaro cheesecake that ruled!

Not much better than hot 'n sweet!

I'd have to try it before I can say whether I like it or not. When I hear that name "black pudding", I think of dark chocolate pudding.
I think it is because they are cooked in the same way and often have certain core binding ingredients.

EDIT: it's easier to look these things up.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pudding - I love Wikipedia.

Quote:
The older puddings are foods that are presented in a solid mass formed by the amalgamation of various ingredients with a binder, which might include batter (as in Yorkshire pudding), blood (black pudding), eggs (bread pudding), or a mixture of suet and flour or some other cereal (plum pudding) ... The newer type of pudding is almost exclusively a dessert-type dish.
Back on topic, I like Tabasco with everything and I mean everything. Chocolate, Cake, and Desserts generally. I get this expression quite a lot.

That is sacrilege. It's almost as bad as having a cappucino after 12pm, or having Parmesan with a fish based Pasta dish!

Whatever, elbows are marginally un-italian to begin with.

And I'll confess, I've been just using this REALLY good romano pecorino on the majority of the pasta dishes I've had of late I picked up at a local organic foods place - it's got this incredible almost peppery bite to it. I'm pretty false, but, well, it tastes good...

I didn't know that was weird, I've done it for years, although adding tabasco and cheese to scrambled eggs while cooking is awesome.

I may have posted these before;
