Who Has Had Surgery before And How Are You Now?

I had Unlar Nerve Transposition on Nov 9th 2005. Im STILL FUCKING HURTING!!!!!!!!

Pics of me 2 weeks after the surgery. (Not too nasty or anything)

http://s29.photobucket.com/albums/c2...dy01/?start=20

That was the worst. Other than that Ive had.....

Tonsils and adnoids
molars removed
arthoscopic knee surgery due to a stupid accident
nose re-broken

Ive been hostitalized for other various reasons.

1. was I had caffeine posioning. I had an energy drink that was WAY TOO potent for my system. Some shit called Red Line from GNC. AWEFUL! I couldnt sleep for 3 days!!!!! I finally went to the EM Clinic then they gave me Valum and something else and I was fine 2 days later.

2. Head injury. during football with some bros.

3. Ulser. I was extreamly stressed at that point in my life.

So Im thinking I need to go back and talk to the doc and ask why Im still in pain. Sure its not really bad but its affecting my playing. Which is why I had it done in the first place.

But has anyone here had surgery before? What was it and what was the outcome?

Shit! I need zippers! I've had

Tonsils, adenoids out
2 Carpal Tunnels
Painful Impacted Wisdom teeth (4) removed.
2 Hernia surgeries(1 botched, the other to fix the first)
and 1 trigger finger mitigation.

The last was a lapriscopic hernia surgery where they installed a chain-link fence in me with chopsticks through 3 little holes. That took 2 hours. I was on heavy narcotics for a week, and will always feel some pain.

Other than that, I'm just ducky!

If electricity comes from electrons, does morality come from morons?

Tonsils & adenoids removed and circumcised (due to an infection) all at the same time when I was 6. That hurt!

I had a torsion of one of my testicles when I was 10, so one of them's now sewn to the inside of my sack.

Other than that, I had a tooth removed surgically.

Touch wood nothing's gone wrong for a while.

Well... I've had surgery on my nuts

Needless to say, the week following each of the operations, I held VERY still. If there's one place on your body where you don't want stitches breaking open, that's gotta be it.

The reason for the operation was, that my testicles were retaining water, and swelling as a result of that. I could easily have them drained, but they'd fill up again in a matter of days. The surgery was then made, to close off the flow of the water.

Before the surgery, my left nut was the size of a beer can

*welcome aboard TMI airlines*

When I was 8 my friends 25 year old brother kicked me in the hands and severly broke all of my fingers (not my thumbs though) I had two pins in each finger to make sure the bones grew straight....that was a fun summer...couldn't play computer games, couldn't change the tv channel, couldn't hold anything...thank god it didnt happen around the age of 12-16 I wouldn't of been able to crack one off...unless I was inventive

The pins are out now ofcourse and i have all the normal movement back but my fingers are stubby because of it...ah well.

More words here is more words.

hmm... i had 4 impacted molars that were taken out, that was pleasant. it really was, for the next week i was completely jacked to cloud 9 on pain meds. never felt a thing

...and, i had a spinal tap performed on me, due to some mystery illness when i was 3. the doc's thought it may have been spinal meningitus.

I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate.
We'll cross the streams.

Wrecked a small motorbike when I was 17, and ruptured my spleen. Had emergency surgery to remove it, and spent 6 days in the hospital. Had a big incision right down the center of my torso that had 17 metal staples and left quite a scar.

Holy shit, dude... That made me mad just reading it. What kind of fucker does that to an 8 yr old kid? I'm glad you're ok now, but man... I seriously hope that was some sort of freak accident and not something that the guy did to you intentionally.
