Frickin' eh, this is kinda hard..

so, my old "coping method" of boredom/stress/etc was to just randomly eat stuff.

which explains this gut and the moobs etc .

now, im trying to Not eat, while im stressed and bored. freakin' hard to do! we have pie, chips, i could make a sandwhich, eat an apple..

but im gonna throw on some bulbasaur and do some pushups. and maybe some situps if the couch plays ball lol.

anyone else have eating as a kind of coping mechanism, and trying to get out of the routine?

next up, "racecar pt. 1"...

Good idea.

My problem with eating is twofold - one, I eat primarily for flavor, not nutrition. I grew up eating a healthy diet so it's not like I'm eating a lot of bad stuff, but it's also not like I'm carefully tracking my caloric intake. and two, I typically don't feel fully "full" until 10-20 minutes after I finish eating, so I tend to eat more than I need to, and then feel over-full.

I'm working on the later, as occaisonal snacking is actually supposed to be good for you as long as it's healthy stuff, but it makes it hard.

yeah..

and the other kicker is i weight 206.x at the beginning of the weekend, and yesterday evening i was at 212 again.. and i didnt exactly eat a lot.

i need more exercise, i think i may ditch the ride-on for the rest of the week.

Your weight actually fluctuates rather a lot depending on how recently your last meal was and how hydrated you are. If you figure a pint of water by definition comes in at 16 ounces (since a fluid ounce of water I believe by definition weights an ounce), then those 8 glasses of water you're supposed to have a day translate into four pounds of water weight.

I'm just weighing myself first thing every morning before I hit the shower, for consistency.

i usually weigh myself just after work.

still weird how i gained 6 pounds in a day, considering i wasnt drinking a lot of anything, and i didnt exactly eat a lot lol (2 meals)

good ole waterweight.. .. hehe
