Some pics from hiking in Nevada (Mt. Charleston) today

Very cool place, a lot different than Zion so it was nice to get two hikes in out here that were so unique. Almost no underbrush, tons of rocks and oddball trees. We didn't take any particular trail, just went to the park and started walking. Unfortunately the highest we got was 9775 feet, and there was nothing around to get us to break the 10k mark that we had the gear for.

Great pics, as always. Cool shot with the altimeter. 9,775 ft is pretty damn high.

* Sentient wants an altimeter for bike rides.

Gorgeous pics!
I went heli-skiing in the Ruby Mountains back in 96.
I love that whole area, I'd live in Tahoe in a heart beat if I could.
the skiing out there is mind blowing.
