Mountain Biking = :yesway: (56k, why not)
So I picked up some stuff today.
![]() ![]() Got some of these. ![]() ![]() Which have these on the bottom. ![]() ![]() For this. ![]() ![]() My brother bought this. ![]() ![]() To put on my new pedals, I needed a wrench. So I got one. ![]() ![]() Had to take these off. I hate straps. ![]() ![]() Much better. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (The milk cartons keep the pool cover from blowin' away. )Took a 2 hour or so ride to get used to the pedal setup. It's really, really nice once you get used to getting in and out of the locks. My inaugural run was about 6 inches, because I clipped in, tried to pedal away, and tipped right over. Nothing hurt but my pride.I mountain biking. My hardtail is in the shop right now gettin' a tune up as well. ![]() |

Ditto here. My poison of choice are a pair of Speedplay Frog's, which are a bit tough when you're just kicking around in a pair of sneakers because they're so small, but rule when you're clipped in for something like 15 degrees of free float and near-impervity to mud, due to their total lack of moving parts.
Of course, I made the switch to clipless right before I moved out of my parent's place and basically stopped riding, so I'm still at the phase where I'm not 100% comfortable on them off road yet... ![]()

Nice, Chris!
![]() I ride in the summer too. I love it. Great workout and it's fun. I have an LL Bean bike, pretty pimpin' bike too. ![]() I love riding around Bates too, there are some nice hotties there. Gotta catch them before they all go away for the summer though. ![]() Cool tattoo by the way. ![]() |

Whew... I just got back in from biking all over the place (For some reason, I live in a particularly hilly area. It's the first time I've gone out riding in a few years, and it started raining while I was out. I'll have to do a picstory when the weather isn't quite as crappy.

I've been riding both flats and spd's for years now. Advantages to both depending on what you are doing. FYI its not the best technique to rely on the pedals to pull up.

I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate. We'll cross the streams. |
