Healthy lunch ideas?
I'm pretty damn sick of turkey and tuna, and salad is just boring without all the good shit on it that makes it bad for you.
![]() What are some good lunch foods that are good for ya? |

![]() But if you're a normal person who doesn't like the taste of a paper bag's interior then I recommend sushi...or prawn pasta salad. Oh yes.

Um... I eat soup from the cafe downstairs a lot. It's cheap, it's not TOO bad for you... I also bring in leftovers a lot. I rarely cook with health in mind, but at the same time I was raised fairly healthy so the way I cook isn't exactly loaded in salt or saturated fat or anything. I'll a lot of the time do a lasagna on Sunday and then bring in leftover lasagna for lunch all week, or do a stir fry one night, and then make one or two lunches out of leftover rice and stir fry, or do a pasta and take the leftovers in. The biggie if you're looking to lose weight, though, is portion size. You can eat like a "normal" human being as long as you're not going to excess - my suggestion would be to buy some smightly-smaller-than-you'd-usually-use tupperware, and pack lunches in that. You shouldn't feel "full" after you eat a lunch, just "not hungry" for a couple hours, until 4 or 5 when you're getting near dinnertime. At first this'll be tough for you, and you'll still be hungry after you eat, but give your stomach a week to readjust and you'll find that a smaller lunch than you were used to will keep you going throughout the day just fine.

The Cambell's soup in a microwavable can is healthy and is a great portion. Top it off with a slice or 2 of wheat with a little Parkay Buttery Spread and you have a damn decent lunch. You could always have some sort of fruits with it to liven things up a bit too. I ate that almost every day for 4 months along with other healthy meals and lost a decent amount of body fat.

sometimes i bring PB&J's. that's with wheat bread, soy butter, natural peanut butter, and blackberry low-sugar jam. yum!
sometimes, if it's cold and i'm thinking i'll want something hot, i'll throw a bowl, spoon, two packets of oatmeal, and a little box of raisins in my bookbag, and i'll have breakfast part 2 for lunch. or sometimes i'll grab a can of Pork&Beans, which isn't as bad for you as it sounds. they're actually pretty good, and you can pretend you're camping ![]() and sometimes when i'm making dinner, something like noodles with vegetables in it, i'll make too much, and will have myself about two days of leftovers for lunch. just add a bit of olive oil and nuke it, and you're money.
I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate. We'll cross the streams. |

Chris chilli from wendy's is pretty good quick and easy. Also what about grilled chicken from home? Bring some veggies with it or some brown rice

Well as far as fast food goes, Wendy's and Burger King are two of the healthier choices because of the way they cook their burgers.
