I don;t buy this atkins shit. Pasta's great for you, provided you eat it like you would anything else, as part of a balanced diet and in intelligent (not American) serving sizes.

You want something even better for you? Make pasta yourself. It's basically just eggs and flour, if you're worried about cholesterol you can probably getaway with egg whites, there will be no preservatives, you can make it with wheat flour if you want, and if you make it fresh,it cooks REALLY fast - say three to five minutes.

My roommates keep suggesting that too. We even have a theme/name - "The Drunken Chef."

Pasta good. Making pasta into a good source of nutrients it doesn't contain in nature is bad. As long as you don't eat a whole box of pasta at every sitting or smother it in fatty sauces, pasta is fine. If you want good sources of omega-3 and protein eat things that have them naturally or take a supliment but leave my food alone.

The name for Drew's cooking should be " Drew's Half-Baked"

Drew. What the hell are you talking about? I never said anything about carbs bro..I'm not even sure what this has for carbs vs. regular pasta. THis is multigrain which is better for you than regular white pasta. Stuff like white bread and regular past isn't that great for you because of used bleached and proccesed flour. Barilla them selves even start blasting low carb/atkins like you are
