Cut away classicals?

Hi, Im in university for classical guitar now and I'm looking to upgrade to a higher quality guitar. I am heavily considering a Walden sometihng 550ce, but I am just wondering the differences between a cut a away and a regular classical guitar?

A Cutaway looks like this:

Its got part of the body slotted out under the fretboard for better upper fret access.

Classical purists say it "Isn't classical" to have one, but whatever.

my classical has a cutaway, and it still sounds like a classical guitar.

haha ya....I guess Im looking for a bit more detail. For instance I know theres a volume issue that cutaway's are not as loud as solid bodies. Anything else?

my cutaway. I don't really think the extra 2" or so of airspace in a non-cutaway classical makes that much of a difference.

I'm currently studying Classical Guitar, and I've got one with a cutaway (its the one on the left...) :

Obviously its going to make a tiny difference to the sound, as you have slightly less timber on the face and back to resonate, but I don't think it makes enough difference to outweigh the handiness of being able to reach those upper frets...

I reckon the timbers that the guitar is made of would make a more significant difference to the sound than a cutaway...
