I wouldn't neccesarily call them easy, but there are many Opeth songs with beatiful acoustic parts, especially on Damnation. Check them out sometime.

So far I've just been working on U2 "A Man and a Woman" and shit like this.

I want to play for her as much as I want to play for myself

I don't plan on learning anything heavy until I learn all the basics first.

A whole lot of Pink Floyd. Even if it's not on the guitar. For example... the song Nobody's Home off The Wall. It's on the piano but it works on acoustic. Works everytime.

I always liked "Creep" by Stone Temple Pilots and "Nutshell" by Alice In Chains, but as far as easy acoustic songs go, I mostly just take easy rock songs and reconfigure them with a bunch of open chords. Good for the ears, good for the fingers, good for the "stand near a bunch of girls, start strumming and hope for the best" factor

I really like playing the accompaniment to Paganini's 24th Caprice when I'm messing around. Nice easy fingerpicked arpeggios and easy chords that I think sound really good on their own.
