NPD!
got myself and my wife a piano today. it is a 1926 upright Mcphail. it sounds great, and is in really good shape. all the ivory is there, and there is only 2 dings from it being moved around all of its life.

Nice. Pianos are win.
Guitar techs are for sissies. Learn some damn music theory, don't complain, and you'll be a better person. -Schecterwhore Show me a truly awesome guitar for under $1000 and I'll show you hateful lies. |

yup, i believe so. the keys have the grain in them and everything. isn't that how you distinguish between the real and fake stuff?

That's what I thought when I read it.
![]() I was thinking "surely he jests..." McPhail has to be the funniest name for a piano company ever. speaking of pianos. I don't own it, but the piano I do most of my playing on is a Kawai Grand. Couldn't be happier. It's a very inspiring instrument. I'm going to have to start doing some piano compositions again.. lol

Bass half of pianos are crushing. Video on here a few weeks back of Shawn Lane playing was phenominal. I bet Chris Broderick can play mind boggling stuff on the ivory as well. Then again those guys could/could've made music banging clumps of dirt together.
