He's an incredible musician, but I wish he'd do more with his abilities than just playing pop songs and familiar standards.

Stanley Jordan is phenomenal. The first song I ever heard from him was a Beatles cover, Eleanor Rigby done tapping style, it's amazing. I like his technique, style and tone.

I usually prefer people to do original music but in his case it doesn't bother me. I think he puts enough of his own spin on things that it makes it feel like it's his own.
