WTB: 7620 in decent shape

Hey guys,

Looking for my first 7 string and have heard the Ibanez 7620 is the way to go. Let me know if anyone is looking to sell one at a fair price.

Thanks,
Pete

There's a guy on the Seymour Duncan forum with a silver one for sale, he wants 450 shipped or 500 with case, has Blazes and an OFR.

Yeah, I saw a black 7620 on craigslist the other day for $199!

Needless to say I missed it.

What do you guys think about these ESP 7 strings? Looks pretty nice for 200 beans:

I had one of those for awhile, sold it to NightmareX. Great guitar, untouchable for the money and well worth $200.

Edit: With a hardcase, that's a fantastic deal if it's in as good shape as he says it is.

They're very nice. I only sold mine because I have sevenitis and it was the least-used one that I had. The neck profile is great (though the neck joint itself could use some work). It's a nice tight feeling guitar all around. The stock pickups (Duncan Designed) will be the first thing you want to rip out of it and replace with something better, but other than that they're very nice, especially for such short money.

Thx. Gonna check it out on Tuesday night. Would you choose the ESP over the IBZ 7620/7621?

Definitely plan to rip out the pickups on whatever I get first thing.

Just found a 7620 for $450 with the hardshell case. It is a little beat tough. Do you think this is a good deal or should I stick witht the ESP?
