FS - Oni Guitars 8 stringer
Okay folks, I'm broke and need a vital cash injection into my bank account asap and so I've decided to sell my Oni 8. Pics here.
Specs 600-660mm scale Ziricote thru neck/body wings Bareknuckle Pickups Gotoh Machineheads 2 'Push/Push' volume pots (push in for on, push out for off) Current tuning - Bb-Eb-Ab-Db-Gb-Bb-Eb-Ab String gauges - .070-.008 The neck plays great, it's shaped quite flat to make moving around the neck more comfortable. Tuning stability is good too, as is intonation, the action isn't all that low but it's not high either. I've had a few goes at bending the high A up and I'd say there's around a safe 1/2-whole step of bending to be had. Tuning wise I suppose you could tune it down to around F# if you had it properly set up, you could also tune it up (I don't know why someone would want to but I'll mention it because it's a possibility) if you managed to get your hands on the right strings for the job. The neck pickup has more mids and slightly less treble than the bridge pickup which has more bass. Tone wise the neck pickup is soft while the bridge pickup is clear, the instrument is also very harmonic. The fanned frets are barely noticable and took me around 2 minutes to get used to, so don't let that put you off. All in all this is an awesome instrument, the body is relatively small I suppose but I find it quite comfortable and I'm not a little guy so that must say something. The guitar comes with a sturdy gigbag, Oni Guitars plectrums and a pack of .008 strings. Condition is mint, exactly how it was when it arrived. Asking price is $2,000US excluding shipping. If I get payment within the week I'll drop the price to $1,800 excluding shipping. Any questions can be directed to either my email ( paul.d.alcorn@gmail.com ) or here. Thanks ![]() Some 'home-made' pics here - Gigbag - Front - Back - Headstock View - Standard Issue Thumbs Up - Proportion |

Dude, you'll regret doing this as long as you live. Don't fucking sell that guitar.

God, this was almost the same scenario of when I sold my custom 8-stringer 4 years ago. Do whatever you can to keep it.

I'm not emotionally attached to the guitar, if my money situation suddenly sorts itself out (don't see it happening but y'never know) I'll just put the money from this into another Oni. Perhaps something nuttier.

Do you have any pics of it other than the "display" ones? EG: Actually sitting in a stand, etc?
