WTT/WTB Duncan JB/Jazz (6 or 7). trade for Duncan Demon/ Jackson Neck/ Scallop work
EDIT: I don't need the JB7 anymore (thanks Noodles).
this is a long shot. I have 2 guitars i'd like to set up with JB's and Jazzes. I need: -JB 6 trembucker. black -Jazz7 black -Jazz6 black I'll trade: -Duncan Screamin Demon (6 string) trembucker (cream/black) for the JB 6 trembucker -Duncan Designed bridge (6 string) trembucker and some extra cash for a JB 6 -Duncan Designed neck (6 string) and some extra cash for a Jazz 6 -Duncan Designed bridge (7 string) and some extra cash for a Jazz 7 -Duncan Designed neck (7 string) and some extra cash for a Jazz 7 -Jackson Performer neck, 22 frets, scalloped and conditioned by me, originally bought off ebay for practice scalloping work (and it turned out awesome, IMO) I'd post picks, but Noodles is holding the thing hostage. -Scalloping work. You send me your neck (you pay for shipping to and back), I work on it for 1 week, to your desired specs, and I send it back to you. Refer to the following thread to decide if you can trust my files. The LTD with the Duncan Designed 7's i'll trade http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/sevenstring-guitars/6284-ltd-h207-w-scalloped-neck-pic-heavy.html The KV3 and Peavey, with the Demon and Duncan Designed pups I'll trade http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/gear-and-equipment/6285-scalloped-six-strings-extremely-pic-heavy.html I'll buy the pups too - but I'd rather not spend money. I'm a cheap tard. Help a drummer out. |

Yes he does, from the pics I've seen - if I had a pickup or two sitting around that I wasn't using, my UV's neck would be in the mail to you now for a 21-24... assuming I could go without playing it a week, lol.

![]() I've actually been considering getting him to do a partial (15th fret up, plain strings only) on my Stars.

oh, I have an R3 nut for it (black), brand new, still wrapped, that i'll include. On that particular neck, if you'd like me to do a touch-up widening of a scallop, I would (like fret 9). I honestly tried not to get too close to the frets though, if it was avoidable, just to leave wood left for refretting. If an overhead view of a scallop looks like the edges of the scallop aren't parallel (the boarder of the untouched wood and where the filing begins and how it lines up with the adjacent border, where the filing ends), it's because they're not, IIRC (i haven't seen this neck in a while, so forgive my crap memory). as the scallop lightens up on the bass side, it also narrows up. I'd be a little reluctant to do a neck with piranah teeth (mini sharkies on jacksons).... i'd honestly have to look at it to see where the heart of the inlay falls between the two frets. however, i can say that I've NEVER lost an inlay yet. |
