Not every guitar is created equal. Maybe he thinks his guitars are so good that they warrant that price. The price of the wood is kind of moot, I mean Conklin pays just as much for his lumber most likely that another luthier does, yet his guitars start around $4000 I believe.

If the guy believes his work is worth that and it sells, power to him. Also, while this guitar doesn't really look incredibly exotic, it looks more exotic than another builders super thin, bolt on, fixed bridge RG bodied customs with a year wait time and a ridiculous price tag attached.

The body has that conklin-ish vibe to it, but I'm really digging on the headstock. Good luck with the sell!

I think he was just pointing out that you can get one for yourself, as well, at the end.

Personally I think exotic shapes look stupid and the more it resembles a soloist with a cool headstock, the better.

I think this is not an exotic body shape, its ergonomic body shape. Short low horn gives full access to that 24 plus fretboard, and long upper horn gives a good overal balance when you hang guitar on the strap

Yes, you are write. I,m not selling it. I just told you all details about this guitar. And that if you like you can order it. I will download sound samples soon. The guitar sound is very tight and dark.

The higher string sound perfect. All the strings sound perfect. String tension is not to much high, but is ok for the this tuning from high to low i:
D A F C G D A E . The sound with dist. is very tight, dark and readable. Sound similar
to Meshuggah Re-Nothing guitar sound)
