Hello everyone,

I have a 7 string petrucci with painted headstock, shield inlays, no piezo for sale. It has been setup not too long ago and with a new set of strings including a fret mill. A small nick in the headstock and the finish around the strings is a little matte from picking. It has a Duncan JB 7-string in the bridge instead of the custom wound dimarzio's it came with. Comes with the hard shell case and all the hardware ( springs and whammy bar ). If I can find the original dimarzio (it's in a box somewhere, I just moved not long ago), I'll throw it in and a new nut that Musicman sent me to replace the current nut when I wanted to throw some larger strings on it but never did use it as spare parts. I hardly play it anymore, I got a custom made because the petrucci never really fit right with my playing style. I would like $1200 for it.

Lysine, two things - first, sorry for a less-than-friendly welcome here on the part of a member (and thanks for providing ample info), and second, that's a HOT guitar at a reasonable price. I'd be temped had I not just grabbed a Recto... :/

Thank you all for the welcome. Unfortunately, it seems like my first post into sevenstring.org is also me trying to sell my 7-string. I hope ex 7-stringers are welcome here too! Congratulations on the recto! In the last month or two I just updated my entire rig as well.

VHT's tend to do that to a man. One piece of advice though, change the speakers in your cab, or get a VHT cab. Celestion V30s don't do the VHT justice, or anything justice really. Good call on the Jackson RR-1T, I -love- that guitar.

PS: Good luck on the sale. You could make a killing on this if you put the stock pickup back in and posted high resolution (non-flash) pics, on eBay especially.
