FS: Ibanez 540S7--rare Saber 7 string with Lo-Pro Edge

FS: Ibanez 540S7 Saber 7-string with Lo-Pro Edge trem. One of only about 450 540S7s made in 1991, the only year they made them. Arched mahogany S-series body tapered at the edges, black DiMarzio Blaze II humbucker/single coil/single coil pickups, Cosmo Black hardware, and Lo-Pro Edge 7 trem. With trem bar and original hardshell Ibanez UV1000C case.

In fair cosmetic condition. Trem and knobs have some pitting; trem and pickup poles show some rust. A dozen small dings and nicks in the clear coat, several dents and chips including around the trem cavity, and a large scratch through to the primer on the back. Grooves chiseled in the back of the single-coil pickup routes, to accommodate 7-string single coils with larger baseplates (this mod is invisible once pickups are installed). Here are tons of pics of these things.

Guitar works perfectly and plays fantastic. Neck has that great broken-in feel, and the tone has a nice mahogany growl. You can hear this guitar on www.myspace.com/actualtime, used for all the dirty parts on the second track "out there."

as far as i'm concerned, it's open to anyone until someone comes through with the payment!

stitch, i don't want to ship internationally because the USPS length limit on packages is a couple inches shorter than the UV1000C case, and UPS overseas uses independent contractors, so i don't know of a reliable shipping option.
