Feelers out... F/S Heavily Upgraded Tremonti SE
Hey guys, not totally sure I'm going to part with it but if anyone is looking for a killer 6 string to add to their arsenal here is your chance. Only reason I'm considering selling it is because after I got to pick up Jerich's DC727 the body and neck just felt "right" for me and I would like to get back into 7 strings so if this sells I can use the funds towards getting a custom DC727-C.
Tremonti SE (EARLY serial number, I think within the first 3-400 made IIRC), second owner. First guy had it and gigged it for a while. That being said, it does have it's fair share of dings and scratches so if you want something to put in a glass case, this isn't for you. I made some upgrades when I bought it from him in stock condition. Upgrades are as follows (keep in mind PRS USA Accessories/Hardware is damn expensive!): - USA PRS Phase II Locking Tuners w/ Ebony Buttons ($89.95) - USA PRS Adjustable Stoptail, now you can set intonation and it helps a LOT if you're planning on drop-tuning with this guitar ($199.95) - Dimarzio D-Sonic/Air Norton set installed - Schaller Strap locks - PRS Hardshell case (also not mint, some tears and whatnot) - 3 sets of Ernie Ball Drop-Tuned optimized strings (I was planning on setting the guitar up for Drop-C tuning but haven't gotten around to it) I'm going to say $775 shipped in the Continental 48 United States. I will post pictures for those who are seriously interested. I can provide eBay feedback if needed, I've already completed a successful transaction with another member on here so no worries. I don't WANT to sell the guitar so if I don't hear anything within a week I'm just going to keep the guitar and save up for the DC727 and buy it later on down the road. Thanks all. ![]() ![]() |

The Tremonti is a singlecut right? I'm interested in seeing the pics then... I heart singlecuts.

Yessir, it's a black singlecut with white binding around the body, neck and headstock. If it weren't for my damn 7-string GAS finally getting the best of me I wouldn't even be considering selling it. That, and my new Thorn is killing off most of my GAS for playing anything else lately!
I'll grab some pictures when I get home, it's going to be dark but I'll do my best guys! ![]() Hmmm... well I pulled the Tremonti out to take pictures and started to play it again. I've decided I'm just going to hold onto it. It's a great playing, great sounding guitar and I'd be selling it at a loss for what I'm asking right now so I'll just hang onto it and save up for the Carvin. Thanks for the interest guys, I would highly suggest anyone interested pick up either a Tremonti SE or Singlecut SE used on eBay, they are great guitars! Sorry again to anyone with their hopes up, I've put a lot of effort into this guitar so I might as well take it all the way and continue to make it a keeper. Even if it's only getting occasional play time, I get the feeling I'd end up kicking myself if I didn't hang onto it! Thanks! Any mods can feel free to close the thread please.Last edited by HighGain510; 02-05-2007 at 10:27 PM. Reason: Automerged Doublepost |

The Tremonti SE is a great guitar, all the ones I have played have been great for the money. Perfect little guitar for riffing, and drop tunings. And can be had for a nice price too.

Besides, Carvin > Jackson FOR ME because of the rounded body! I totally agree godfather, my plan (which still stands now) is to add a new Tusq nut as the stock one is like plastic and then set it up for Drop-C tuning. It's a killer guitar, plus I have a set of custom pickups sitting in my room that I originally ordered for my Thorn but since I'm not using them for that now I'm going to try them out and take the dimarzios out. Should be a fun project! ![]() |
