I've owned a S7420FM before and made my thoughts on it clear on this forum via countless threads and reviews (I once posted a thread that compared a UV/JP7/S7420FM/K7, all which I owned at the time--sigh those were the days). One of the best playing 7s in existence. My honest opinion of the stock pickups? Neck is amazing for leads, all positions great clean, the bridge is good but nothing special. If I was to keep this/buy it off my friend (which I will if no one buys) I would replace the bridge pickup, its really nice on all strings except for the low B one which is just a bit lacking in attack for my tastes.

Anyways the guitar plays second to none, its by no means mint but its still beautiful and plays killer

Edit: Well TMM is going to get an 540S7 so this guitar is still available.

is there any way I could make not a trem? I absolutely hate trems

The trem has 5 springs in it, so the tuning stability is really good... you can change tunings fairly quickly. That being said yes theres things you can do to make it into a hardtail. Block the trem, get a device such as a Tremol-No, etc.

$85. If you're refering to the first pic on the left edge, yes. Although I think it looks gorgeous anyways, it has seen some use. It's definitely the supreme player, if you're looking for something close to mint this isn't for you

PS: I believe I have a buyer for this guitar, when that becomes official I'll say something.

Another way to make it non trem is buy a tremol-no and put it into hardtail mode, when a string breaks the guitar doesn't go out of tune and changing strings is a snap with it.
