Hey guys:

So, I'm looking for an 8-string guitar to experiment around with. (I've played a few that all belong to friends and fellow prog-metallers, but I've never owned one of my own. Time to bite the bullet.)

I'm not too specific or fickle with the specs or brands, (I'm an extremely adaptable player and have played Schecter guitars and Vigier guitars in the past as my dominant axes, and I can play/adjust to almost any guitar), so I will entertain all offers or suggestions, and I will make my call after I analyze all the specs and pics that you guys send me. I'm trying to keep it at a decent price. (Under $1,000 sound fair?)

Again, I'm not picky. Not really a fan of Agiles based on what I've heard, but I am open to evaluating any guitar that anyone is sellling and giving the specs a full run down.
