FS: RG1077XL

Well, I'm finally gonna be selling this because I really don't like floating trems. It's in great condition and only has 3 minor dings. I've only gigged with it once and has been lying in the case for the past couple of years or so. It's set up with Zachary optimum gauge strings and is currently tuned to G#. It also comes with a hard case which isn't anything special but does the job well. This guitar is awesome, definetly the best I've probably ever played! I'm quite sad that I have to let it go but floating trems just ain't for me plus I really need the cash for other things.

Now for the pics... (sorry for the crappy pics)

Don't worry, I have all the parts that are missing from the pictures (the tremolo arm, locking nut and the trem cavity cover).

The flaws...

This is not as bad as it looks really. It's just a little chip that I filled in with a marker.

This little white spot was there when I got it initially. I filled this in with a marker too.

Don't know how that got there.

These dings are hardly noticeable in real life.

I don't really know what the going rate is but I was hoping to get about 1000$ from it. Is tht too much?

I'll consider other offers though Also, I live in India (

) so the buyer will have to pay for the shipping which is about 150$ (to the US at least).

Edit - I'd also be interested in trading this for an ESP/LTD H-307 + cash. (I'll obviously pay for the shipping)

Y'know people advertise these for $1000+ but they aren't really worth quite that much...I've seen 1077XL and 2077XL's sell for ~£350/$730 and Ishibashi U-Box had one for ~$430...

I am interested though, just let me check my bank account and I'll get back to you.
EDIT- any chance you could change the tuning to Bb? Not a big issue if you can't.

Tuning to Bb wouldn't be a problem.

papa skank ... i totally disagree. i saw one sell for $850 (us dollars) on ebay with a buy it now (5 hours after it's posting) ... but they sell for over $1000.

on top of that ... you can watch ebay for weeks and weeks and never even see them. it's not like buying a universe where everyday you have a pick of 10 on ebay.

i'm biased when i say this ... but it's one of the best seven string guitars you can own from ibanez (or any other if you ask me). IMO ... all 7's should be at least 26.5" ... a good feauture of the recent schecters.

$1000? worth every dime plus.

jsut rip the stock pickups out ... they are trash beyond trash.

Oh, don't get me wrong I've owned a 2077XL and they're awesome guitars. Easily the best 7 stringer I've owned actually but when they're selling for a fair bit under $1000US it kind of tells me it isn't worth $1000+. Besides, they sold for upto $1500 retail when they were new.

Battle-Axe, if this is still around in a couple of weeks I might be able to offer a little more. I'll PM you if that's the case.
