FS/FT: BC Rich Assassin FX6 trans. black

BC Rich Assassin FX6, trans black in very good condition, 1st owner, owned for a little less than 2 years now. SWEET guitar. Until I fell in love with 7 strings soon after finding this guitar, this was my #1 to replace my badly aging Hamer. Lemme repeat that -- this recently built Korean guitar, while different stylistically, rivals the quality of my USA Hamer when it was brand new 14 years ago. Currently strung with custom gauge D'ddarios for dropped C tuning, but I will gladly re-string and set it up to your specs upon request.

If you'd like to hear it in action, I used this guitar for both of the recordings currently up at Ideals to Embers on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads.

Maghogany body w/ flame maple top, 5 piece neck-thru, trans black finish, TOM + string through body, ebony board with beautiful abalone vine inlay, abalone binding on body and headstock. It's looks and plays beautifully.

Reason for selling/trading: I simply have WAY too many guitars now.

I will go so far as to say that this is probably the only guitar you'll find with mahogany/neck thru/ebony/tom+thru anywhere near this price. That's why I bought it, really. It was a steal at the price I paid for it, and you're getting it at even less than that!

Modifications (if any): Dimebucker in bridge, original pickup included upon request -- though you probably don't want it.

Accessories (hardshell case etc): 3rd party HSC

Price (include currency and if firm/obo): These go for about $600-$650ish on ebay, so I'm thinking $500 with the case OBO. I can include the original bridge pickup (or even put it back in the guitar and remove the dimebucker) if you'd like, but the original bridge pickup was very microphonic and I personally don't dig that.

Will consider trades for basses, or other studio gear, but please no guitars (unless you have an ibanez I simply can't refuse) and note that I would much prefer to sell.
