So is that the typical graphite or whatever modulus uses sandwiched in between the maple neck and the fretboard?

Yes. It is pretty interesting. I havent come across many of these at all, and I have been trying to find a spec sheet on it for a while.

Cool

I own three Genesis Modulus guitars and have been admiring your blue one. It is a G2T that appears to have the alder neck. They made these also with Soma, maple, and cedar that I know of. Your guitar has an alder body and flame maple top. The first two digits of the serial number give the year of manufacture. Modulus made these for about ten years starting in '97. I would love to play that guitar to see if it might work out better for me than one I currently own. I live just north of Albuquerque......
