I thought I'd start a new thread to reflect the current situation...
I'm willing to sell the guitar for $325 plus shipping, but if you express mail or overnight (or whatever the term is for a speedier delivery) a money order or cashier's check to me, I'll knock off the shipping charges. I still got the original box it shipped in and I have a gig bag too that I'd be willing to send, but I can't make the gig bag fit in the box so I might have to send that seperately if purchased... I'm also still willing to trade for an RG7620 or for an RG1527. I realize the values of said trade(s) may not be equal, but I am willing to trade my guitar plus some cash if need be. As has been stated before, the guitar is in great condition. I have dunlop straploks installed that are very tight and snug, and I will include a planet waves strap with the guitar also. I also have a pack of 9-54 D'addario's I haven't put onto the guitar yet that I will include with the guitar as well. I've also installed a 5-way switch instead of the old 3-way, and the switching arrangement is wired up like so: 1: bridge coil tapped 2: bridge/neck coil tapped (outer) 3: neck humbucker series 4: both humbuckers (series) 5: bridge humbucker series Everything about the guitar is in excellent condition except for one small paint chip on the back of the lower horn, I have pics I can send if anybody would like to see. |

You didn't even mention what color it is... EDIT: Nevermind, I just saw that this was Shannon's old axe. Could you get some pics of the damage?

When I get home from school and band practice today, i'll post pics of the one paint chip. I can post regular pics if y'all like, but...I think you've seen what it looks like when Shannon first got it

K, I got the best pics I could, all I have here is a webcam, not a digital camera....but you can get the right idea for how big/where the chip is.
I also included the best picture I could of the straplok installed on the upper horn that was giving me problems before. I used a toothpick and some woodglue and jammed it in there and screwed it in tight, and it is a very snug and tight fit now. I don't foresee that it'll present any problems in the future, but I guess there's a small chance something COULD happen (there's always a small chance of something bad happening with anything though). Change of plans.
I thought floyd rose's were for me, but they aren't. I'll still be willing to sell it for $325, but now for trades I'm looking for either an rg7321, rg7421, rg7621, or rg7421xl. |
