Hey everyone. New to this forum, and I don't see a Help Wanted/classified section on here, but this is a Help Wanted thread. Mods, please feel free to bump to new location.

Abeyance is desperately seeking a second guitar player for touring and writing. We are from Long Island, New York.
We are a heavy metal/ hardcore band that play seven string guitars exclusively. We do alot of unorthodox rythym, odd time, and of course big riffs. Our musical influence runs somewhere between the lines of Meshugguh, Every Time I Die, Between the Buried and Me, old school hard core, thrash. You name it, we put it in there.

Qualifications are as follows :

Must have Seven string guitar. Sorry, no Six'ers.

Must have pro gear. We are all seasoned musicians with experience and we know our instruments and equipment well.

Must have transportation to rehearsal. We rehearse twice a week in Port Jefferson Station, on Long Island, NY.

Must be professional in attitude. Absolute dedication is a must. We are a signed band with obligations to record and tour. Currently, we have a tour lined up in march that will not go on unless we can find a touring player. We are playing in support of an album that was released in August of 05.

It would also be beneficial to not have any financial or relationship hang-ups. We are all incredibly dedicated and hell-bent on making a mark on this music scene. You should be too.
