FS - Ibanez J-Custom RG8270FXB + Ibanez RG1527 (Europe)
Ok, the temptation for this is just too strong, but I will certainly need to sell a few things before I can even think about it, so to that end, there's a couple of guitars I could bare to part with.
Ok, I'm located in Ireland. You guys in the US mightn't find the prices that godo though. Both guitars have the original hardcases. RG8270 Onyx Black It's a 6 stringer, J Custom. HSH config with DiMarzio Tone Zone/Blue Velvet/Air Norton pickups. There's a small chip on the body about the size of the head of a Q-tip, above where the strap button is, but apart from that, the guitar is in absolutely great condition. There are no marks on the face of the guitar, and there are no issues with it at all. It's got a DiMarzio Cliplock strap installed. SOLD! RG1527 Royale Blue With this guitar, I've installed a Lundgren M7 in bridge, with a DiMarzio Air Norton 7 in neck, and there's white bobbin toppers. The pickup selector has been replaced with a schaller, and a Cliplock strap has also been installed. Some of the powder finish on the trem has worn a little. There's no damage anywhere on the guitar as far as I can tell, and no issues with playability, so it's also in very good condition. I'm looking for €900 considering the pickups, but if that's too much, or you don't care for the pickups, I can replace the M7 with a DiMarzio D-Sonic 7, and drop the price to €800, or replace both pickups with the original Ibanez V7/V8 pickups, and drop to €700. I've only got a seriously crappy camera, so you'll have to forgive me for this: ![]() The 1527 is on the left, and J Custom is center. You can't even see the flame top on the J Custom in the picture, but it's very nice. If you'd like more detailed and higher quality pics, I can get hold of another camera by tomorrow perhaps, or next week at the latest. I've dealt with Zimbloth and Technomancer, and Zerosignal on here.

Ok, got the lend of a camera, so here are detailed pics of the J-Custom. If anyone wants to see ever higher res ones, just message me, and I can email them to you. RG pics to follow.
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This is the small chip, as you can see it's absolutely tiny. The small white dots are just dust I've forgot to clean off, only noticed them when I got the pics onto the computer, but they're nothing to worry about. ![]() Aside from that, there's a little welting on the trem, which you can make out in the first pic, but no other blemishes on the guitar, other than some dust and smudges. Edit - The face in the bottom picture is a reflection of my t-shirt.

I know I say this about a lot of guitars, but the RG8270's are FANTASTIC guitars, with necks to die for and an unplugged acoustic sound that is obscenely good.
Thoroughly recommend them

Thanks Stitch. It really is an incredible guitar, plays like absolute butter.
But honestly, I'm just not playing it that often, on account of it being a 6'er, so I'm sure there's someone out there who'll give it the love and attention it deserves.

Ok, RG1527 pics.
![]() ![]() ![]() Now, as you can see in the last pic, there are two very small dings on the guitar. You can see from the pic how tiny they are, but it's worth noting. I don't want to leave out any detail here. There's the main ding you can make out, which is right on the arm countour, and slightly above and to the left of that, is a scratch.

J Custom is sold.
Anyone interested in the RG1527? I'm open to offers.

You're welcome, but I don't think that's enough. Try £549.62.
![]() Unless Karl accepts your offer, that is. In which case, gravy!

I could have sworn a stock RG1527 was about £500 / €640 ish? At least they were on GAK a while ago, this years one seems to be more expensive (for the same thing).

But Karl can also sell his stock for €700, which is what ITRN was asking about.
![]() And RG1527s are about €200-€300 more expensive than what Neil was quoting.

I just bought the last £500 one left ANYWHERE, They're all around £650 / €830 which makes Karls price pretty good.
I would recommend you guys give him some extra money and get the new pickups though. Free bump for you KH

Basically, there's one with a £400 BIN on eBay right now, but I thought I'd rather try and deal within the SS
than go for that.(edit) I may go for the DS7/AN7 option and offer the extra, depending on my fiscal situation in the next week or so

That's fair man.
I'll drop the overall price by €100 on this, so €600 for stock, €700 with DiMarzios or €800 with Lundren in bridge. How's that?
