Point of fact, right now as far as I know, Drew's CST is the only one for sale out there. So for anyone wanting a CST, and there are people out there who certainly would love one, Drew's is the only one they have a shot at owning. That pretty much gives him carte blanche to charge whatever he wants for it. It doesn't change what the guitar is worth, but neither does any ebay auction you might link trying to nickel and dime him on his price. Notwithstanding that his reputation in the community at large is solid, and those that know him know that he's a trustworthy guy who isn't going to hide any details and will be up front with you about everything. If I'm looking to spend $2500 on a guitar, I'd rather spend a couple of extra bucks for the peace of mind that comes with knowing that I got all the details from someone that I can trust rather than relying on someone's feedback rating and hoping for the best. If you think his price is $200 too steep, wait for one available for what you're willing to pay. If you aren't looking for one, please don't come here and troll his post telling him that his price is off because you saw one somewhere else that's already been sold. Additionally, that eBay price is before shipping, and Drew's price is including shipping. Not that it costs $200 to ship a guitar, but at the same time you don't ship a rare, one-of-less-than-20 boutique piece for $25 either. |

I have a radical idea. The door swings both ways,
we could reverse the particle flow through the gate. We'll cross the streams. |

You know, I just bought an RG-8670, and I don't play it. I know where you're coming from Drew; these are outstanding instruments that have so much work and effort put into them. They are just so far above the average. And I don't know anyone really who has one of these crazy high end boutique guitars as their main player. I'd still buy this in a heartbeat if I could afford it
I'm just not sure I'd play it much either. It sure is a beautiful, beautiful guitar though.EDIT: I tell you what Drew, if you want to keep this guitar a little longer to see if it could be nudged back into grace, I'll send you up a Blaze Custom I have no use for. You could slap it in the bridge and if it changes your mind about the guitar you keep 'em both. Think about it; I'd hate to see you give up on it when a simple pickup swap might do the trick.

Jim, that's awesome of you, man, but I still don't see myself playing this one much more than I do - my UV just fits me so well, and this is way too nice a guitar to be a backup, you know? :/ Thanks, though, that's pretty damned cool of you for offering.

![]() However, certain guitars speak to certain players. Someone will be very happy with this guitar - a part of me would love to have one, but I can't justify that sort of money to play it less than Drew does. |
