FS: Ibanez 7621

Hi,

I'm currently going through my inventory and selling stuff that I'm not really using. The customized Ibanez 7621 is one of the items are getting no attention whatsoever and I believe someone interested in the instrument would benefit from it much more than I could. I haven't been able to play much at all lately and therefore one 7 string is more than what I need. The guitar was purchased from this very forum about a year and a half ago from user Donnie.

Features:

Colors: Minwax Green Bayou for body & head, Black Onyx for the neck. The guitar was originally black but was customized by the original owner. Please refer to the following thread for details: http://www.sevenstring.org/forum/sev...shed-pics.html
There is also a custom logo on the head, saying USA Custom Ibanez.

Pickups: Replaced the stock neck pickups with a DiMarzio AirNorton7 and the stock bridge pickup with DiMarzio X2N7.

Condition: no visible dents as far as I know. The killswitch that ended up replacing the tone knob had its little button fall off the same day I got the guitar.. you could probably replace it with an actual switch. The guitar itself was set up by a professional luthier a few months ago.

Price: I'm looking for 500 + shipping costs through Paypal. Continental US only.

2 Questions...

1. Any idea of the outcome of sanding the black in order to stain the neck green like the body?

2. Any interest in a trade for a RG770?

Sorry for the late update.
Not interested in trades, sorry. I ended up with more guitars than I need so I'd rather not have another one unless it's a parker or a USA steiny, which of course nobody would trade a RG for heh.

1) What do you mean for "outcome"? The neck is smooth, the painting job was done professionally. As far as I can tell no sliding smoothness was lost in the process. Basically the neck didn't get stickier or anything.

2) See above.
