FS: Schecter C7 Blackjack

I'll probably regret this, but I've decided to sell my C7 Blackjack. You can read my review in the "Reviews" section here to find out more about the guitar. It sounds and plays great, but I prefer a standard-scale neck on 7-string guitars because I like the feel of really loose strings (.009-.042, tuned down), and I can't really get that with the Schecter and its 26.5" scale. Plus, I could use the $$$ at the moment for some G.A.S. alleviation...

Guitar is in good shape. The only signs of wear are what you would expect from a newer guitar that has been played--pick scratches on the front and a couple of small scratches on the back. Nothing through the paint and no dings, either. Frets are good (great, actually--I'll miss 'em). Comes with a hardshell case. $425 shipped in the USA, or $400 + shipping for non-U.S. buyers.

Damn, I've always wanted to try a C7, but I've already spent my money for next like 3 months on guitar purchases and X-mas gifts.

I just got a Jackson DK27 baritone guitar that I've become rather attached to. Tune it down to C# with .009-.042 strings, and it becomes pretty amazing. I also may be getting something very old and very Jackson very soon, for which I could use the extra $$$, but we'll see about that...

I'll get some pics up as soon as I can (tomorrow morning), but they won't be all that great, as I have only a digital pen cam to work with.

Ok, here are some quick 'n' dirty pics of the Schecter, taken with my sorry little pen cam. By the way, anything you see on the back of the guitar is merely a reflection from the ground. The back is really clean--actually more so than I thought when I first posted this last night. Just one small nick, really. However, I must add that the black-chrome finish has worn down a bit on the bass side of the bridge--it doesn't look bad or anything, it's just a bit more chrome than black now. No physical wear or anything like that.

Ooooh, seriously interested... I've been half wanting one of these things for a while now, and I think I can swing it at the moment.

busy day at work ahead of me, and no home net access for the time being, butI'll be in touch in the next day or so after I think about it a bit.

Cool. Let me know.

Wow, am I a bad photographer or what? Look at that headstock shot. Looks like something from a Monty Python skit...this guitar is learning the value of Not Being Seen.

I like it. Of course, if I was to buy it, it would learn the value of not being played, which is why I just sold my LTD to our drummer. I've been interested in one of these, but 1.) I'm not going to step on Drew's toes and 2.) since it's X-mas time and I have kids, I can't afford it, anyway.

Apparently, I should get together with you for a beer more quickly if I want to try one of your guitars, though - you've only had this since October, right?

What "old and Jackson" did you find?
