WTB Ibanez RG7621, RG7620, maybe RG7421 or RG7420

I'm looking for either an Ibanez RG7620 or RG7621, I might even be looking for an rg7421 or an rg7420. Just let me know what kind of condition it's in, with or without case, how much you want for it, etc. I have an ibanez rg7321 I might be willing to trade as well. Thanks.

Update:

I decided to look for a rg7620, not the other 3 possibilities. I'd perfer something other than black, but i'll still accept offers on black 7620's. Make me an offer.

I might consider a trade. I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to give up my RG7620. Is the 7321 the same, aside from it being a fixed bridge.

Do you have any clips?

Yes, the only main difference is that the 7321 is a fixed bridge while the 7620 has a floating tremolo. Thereare a couple of (in my mind) MINOR differences between the guitars, and these are the differences in specs I got from jemsite (http://jemsite.com/ibanez/spec_ib7.htm):
1. 7620 has three piece maple neck, 7321 has a 5 piece maple neck with two stripes of bubinga running down the entire length of the neck. 7620 has a wizard neck, 7321 has a wizard II neck (not sure there's any difference? someone correct me if i'm wrong). 7321 also has a fretboard with white binding while the 7620 has no fretboard binding.
2. 7620 comes with Dimarzio New 7 pickups, 7321 comes with Ibanez AH series pickups.
3. 7620 was made in japan, 7321 was made in korea.

So other than the slight neck differences, having a fixed bridge instead of a tremolo, and a bound fretboard they're basiclly the same guitars. I've replaced the Ibanez pickups in the 7321 with Dimarzio's, a Blaze bridge - in the bridge no less! - and an Air Norton 7 in the neck. I still have the stock pickups as well if you'd wish to have those also.

I don't have any clips, but if you want to get an idea for what the guitar sounds like, listen to any Steve Vai song where he uses a 7, because the blaze bridge is the same pickup Vai has in his universes. Also, listen to Dream Theater's "Awake" album (the 7-string songs) or "Scenes from a Memory". For the 7-string songs on "Awake" Petrucci used a universe, and on "Scenes from a Memory" all his guitars were equipped with Air Norton neck pickups and Steve's special bridge pickups (the steve's special was based off the blaze bridge model from the universe, he wanted that same sound in a 6-string pickup). The 7321 is a killer guitar, and definently worth more than it sells for IMHO. Most people that play them love them.

What condition is your 7620 in? Anything wrong with it? Based off your signature it's still stock, correct? Do you have a case for it? Do you have all the tools for it?

The only thing wrong with my 7321 is it's missing one screw for the truss rod cover (the other two hold it on fine and you can't even tell it's not there, plus an extra screw can be had easily) and there is one TINY scratch next to the bridge pickup. Other than that, the guitar is in GREAT condition. If you would be interested in trading we could talk about whether you'd like the Ibanez HSC and Dimarzio pickups to be included with the 7321 or not. I'd SLIGHTLY perfer to keep the dimarzio's and the hardshell case but if the only way you'd do the trade is for me to include the hardshell case and pickups, by all means let me know and i'll be very happy to discuss with you (i'm very flexible). The stock AH pickups in the 7321 actually sound really good, and you wouldn't need to even change them, but I did just because of personal preference. The stockers still are pretty good though.

PM as been sent as well, feel free to either respond here in the thread or to send me a PM back. Thanks for your time.

I have a hardshell case for Ibanez and all of the tools. It's in pretty good condition I would say, mine also only has two truss screws, so I know what you mean. Yeah, it's completely stock, except I changed the knobs to plastic ones with numbers on it, just because I like it that way. I'm willing to trade because I block the trem anyway, so I figure I may as well have a hardtail. I also would like the p/us included in the trade if that's cool. I've always wanted a guitar with that configuration, whether you include the stocks or not doesn't really matter. I also like the bound neck of the 7321, and the Bubinga stripes, so it has a lot of what I like/want.

On to the condition of the 7620. No screws are stripped at all. All of the tuners and fine tuners work perfectly. The p/us all work. I has a few chips/dents, most were there when I bought a few years ago.The only visible ones, if you look reallly quick are at the top edge where a tiny bit of the wood shows. There are a LOT of chips on the back, but they were from when I got it and they never disclosed those pics, but that's my fault for not asking. Of course they're on the back, so they're not noticeable to anyone (but you). The neck is just right, and the trem is in great condition, as are the springs, as they are rarely used.

If you need anything else, just ask.

P.S. What kind of hardshell case do you have, I have the one with Ibanez in pink and the red velvet internal lining. I think it's the UV1000 case.

Do you still have the old black knobs by chance that came stock with the 7620? Do you have any pictures of the guitar to show how many chips/dings and such are in the guitar?

Also, I have the uv1000 case as well. it's the black one with the pinkish purpleish redish velvet lining on the inside.

Yeah, I have the knobs. I can take some pictures, I have to get my girlfriend's camera though. Do you have any pics of your guitar?

That's the first picture, of the back. You'll notice the smudge on the back, I forgot about that, I think it's solder.

Press next to see the next few pictures.

If you included the old knobs, that'd be great. You can include or keep the numbered knobs, doesn't really matter to me. I used to have pictures of the guitar, but they were on my girlfriend's computer and her computer crashed so we lost the pictures. I can take some new pictures with her digital camera and send em to you right away (very similar situation, lol). I'll go ahead and get to work on the pictures, I can get em to you by tomorrow or Monday most likely. I'll give you my e-mail address below so you can send pictures of your guitar to me, please let me know when you'll have the pictures by. Thank you.

My girlfriend actually left her camera here, so I just clicked some off for you. If you don't care how the back of a guitar looks then it's perfect, as it's never bothered me.
