Well, since we're no longer talking about Agile guitars for Canadians anymore, I will say that I think everyone jumps on Nick the moment he says anything anyone disagrees with way too quickly. If you go back and look at his most recent neg reps, a lot of it is just bullshit, I've said worse and not gotten neg repped. I'm sure it's a result of him being an asshole when he first signed up, but I think he's a lot better now. For instance in this thread, he was just relaying information he was told. Is it his fault Kurt told him that it would cost that? He was just relaying what the owner said to him, whether or not it was true isn't really the point. I think a lot of the time the conversation escalates into full out disagreements and people shit on him way too soon so he gets defensive, and the whole thread usually ends in a downward spiral into the toilet. I think if you guys layed off him for a bit he would learn to speak with a bit more consideration here. I mean, it may not seem it, but I really have to tone down my comments and not be anywheres near as vulgar/offensive as what I'm actually thinking (which might shock some of you ). It's not a completely one sided thing on Nick's side, I think a lot of the time he's provoked into being pissy.

JJ it's not as much a case of what he says all the time but more of HOW he says it. Although to be fair, what he says is usually either wrong or inflammatory. Perfect example: jumping on ShawnF when his comment wasn't even mean-spirited. WTF?

Well, in this thread for example, he was probably on edge and defensive because of Jason's reply about him talking out of his ass. That probably pissed him off and then just snapped at anything he construed as an attack on him.

But he was talking out his ass... I'm just saying, if you already KNOW you have a bad rep around here (which he does, and he knows he does) you might want to proof-read your posts to make sure that:

a) the statement is true, and you know for a fact that it's true so you don't look like an idiot

and

b) you're not badmouthing other members in a serious fashion

We all joke around with each other, but when he says stuff like that he's dead serious, and it just makes him look like an even bigger ass than he already is. Sorry, he's just said way too many ridiculous things, although maybe I'm just taking it the wrong way because I'm one of those under-educated Americans filling up the USA as he so eloquently put it.

Well, we all have character flaws But like I said, he was just relaying information that was given to him by someone else, which I wouldn't consider talking out of his ass. He even posted the e-mail he received from Kurt.

First off, Saying UPS will cost $200-$300 extra, is talking out of your ass.

Secondly, Kurt knows that Canadian customers don't pay customs. He set up his business that way. Where that email came from, or who was smoking what at the time is beyond me.

Third, Even if Kurt didn't have his company set up like it is, he'd have no way of determining customs, because once he'd pay shipping and it leaves his place, it's out of his hands.

Fourth, You guys are too hard on Nick. Not just Nick I find. Anyone who has pissed the general public off in the past, seems to get shit on every time they make a post. The two posts Nick made in this thread are far from the worst i've seen from the regulars on this site.

And what's with the harsh ass comments? Lay off a bit.
