Giving you guys first crack at these before throwing them to the wolves...

I had ordered 3 custom 7-string guitars from Wayne & Michael Charvel a few years ago, but they were never finished. Wayne & Michael gave me a choice: wait and they could finish them up, or they could send me what they had done, and I could finish them myself. I am selling 2 of the bodies, and 2 of the necks. (I am keeping a maple onmaple neck and plain alder body on that small chance of actually finding someone to help finish it up).

The pics are...well, the pics simply do not do these justice at all. I tried using a flash, tried shading the flash slightly, etc. I suck at photography, and I wish I could ahve caught these better. Anything looking washed-out is most likely (99.9% sure) the flash, or my inept abilities at picture taking.

First up: Alder body, flame maple top, already cut for binding, flat top, small control cavity on back cut, jack hole cut, will mate perfectly with either neck I am selling. Uses standard neck plate, or finish the project with your own style of neck/body attachment/sculpting. No routing done for bridge or pickups. pics here. If you want higher res pics, I can send them via email. There is one small "dent" on the face, less than 1/3 thickness of a paper match. Very minor. Final sanding required anyway. This is a beautiful flame top, excellent piece of alder, nice and light. Rear cavity has a cover already cut, plastic still on it, no holes drilled yet for it though.

Second: Alder body, quilt maple top. Same as above, except quilt, and no dent on it. This is going to be one gorgeous body when finished. If someone knows how to draw the quilt out nicely, and do a nice dye on it, I would figure it would look like you coudl swim in it. I wish I had the time and $$ to have this one done. pics here. Third: Rosewood fretboard on birdseye maple neck. The rosewood is beautiful! The pics dont do it justice. I love the coloring on the fretboard, and the birdseye is excellent. pics here. 22 fret, dots, body end truss access. 6-on-top tuner holes, not sure of the diameter. Wayne Guitars style headstock.

Necks fit the bodies, nice fit, snug. Mix n match. $150 each piece + shipping (still in original boxes as shipped from Wayne and Michael Charvel). $525 for the whole lot. No hardware. Wish I could finish them....wish I would have let them finish them and been patient. But, with over a year wait prediciton, I opted out. Stupid me... Over $1k in work and material here, all done by..well, if you dont know who Wayne and Michael Charvel are...

However!
The guitar body boxes are 24"x16"x3", and 10lbs each. Neck boxes are 36"x4"x4" and 10lbs each. If you are overseas, and want to do Paypal, are verified, have confirmed address, and YOU set all the shipping an dpaperwork up ahead of time with UPS to pick it up...then, and ONLY then, will I make an exception. I might be able to have a helper bring a body or neck down tot he post office with me, but everytime I hit the post office to do overseas, the person I end up dealing has me do the paperwork differently, and it turns into an hour or so of frustration. Maybe I am just a complete moron.
