FS: Ibanez Prestige RG2027XVV 7-string w/ DiMarzio pickups

For sale: Ibanez Prestige RG2027XVV 7-string loaded with DiMarzio Tone Zone 7 and Air Norton 7 pickups.

Mahogany body Prestige model 7-string with Double Edge trem, three-piece Prestige neck, and All-Access Neck Joint. This model was discontinued in 2001 and they haven't made them since. The Double Edge trem has piezo-acoustic pickups built into the saddles, and dual output jacks for running the magnetic pickups to one amp and the piezos to another.

Stock pickups were replaced with a DiMarzio Tone Zone 7 at the bridge and a DiMarzio Air Norton 7 at the neck. The piezo switching was modified with the KJG wiring mod that allows the magnetic and piezo pickups to be run at the same time. Original strap locks were replaced with black Dunlop strap locks. Includes original UV1000C hardshell case.

Guitar is in very good condition -- minor pick swirling of the finish visible under bright lighting. The only dings or dents on the body are two small areas along the back edge of the body (where the body would touch the prongs of a guitar stand). One of these is a scratch in the clear coat that is so slight I couldn't even get it to show up in a picture. The other, down near the output jack, is two tiny chips, each about the size of a Sharpie pen tip -- see the pics at http://www.his.com/~sha3u/gear/fs-RG2027.htm . The neck is in great shape -- fret wear is minimal. The hardware has no corrosion or pitting.

$975 with free ground shipping in the continental US. Buyers in the US only please. I'm located in Virginia, USA, and I've been on the forum at www.jemsite.com for 7 or 8 years now, if you want to check my old posts. I strongly prefer payment by Paypal. Sorry, no trades. Contact me at actualtime@his.com with any questions. Thanks.

Can you attach the pics here? It might just be me, but they don't seem to be working on the link.

It's all fixed now -- the pics will load. There was an error on my html code -- sorry about that.

Here are three of them attached to this post -- click on the thumbnails for bigger versions. There are a couple more on the web page. Thanks.

Pretty grain on that one.

For that price, I can see why it sold so fast. That guitar is easily worth $1500+.
