hey guys im selling my 550DY! there is nothing wrong with the guitar. it's basically brand new with no fret wears or crack. theres a little chip on it though. it also comes with ibanez hardcase! also steve vai signed it, but its starting to rub off. i want $700 obo

You might have better luck at Jemsite; the guys there literally fight for these things. Dangle it on a string in front of them.

Honestly you're looking (imo) about $500 for the shape it's in, especially since Ibby just reissued 550's for $140 more than you're asking, brand new with a warranty.

I'm not trying to slag on your for sale ad, but as badass as 550's are in general, $700 used is quite a but unless it's in absolutely pristine shape.

if the vai signature was in perfect condition and u cleared over it or like least covered it up to protect it, u woulda been able to get $700 maybe.. but now its basically a botched sig so its kinda worthless.. back down to 500 mark hehe

signatures dont make guitars 200$ more expensive ;p

Some people would buy it tho for $200 more since it was signed by vai.. Not saying its actually worth that.. I rather pay more money to have a KE-1 NOT signed with Marty on it, than one that did have his sig on it (which I almost bought once on ebay but decided against it because the sig lol)
