FS: Charvel 80's Natural USA Custom Strat w/ Hard Case

This is a vintage and very collectable Charvel guitar. It has dual humbuckers, a classic tremolo bridge, and a blank (original) angled headstock with 22-fret maple neck and black dot inlays. It also has the authentic Ft. Worth, Texas neck plate and serial no. It is a beautiful guitar that is an exceptional playing instrument. The pickups are controlled by a single push/pull tone knob. The natural coloured maple body is of high quality wood, which shows off different flame and figuring with every movement in light. It includes a vintage hardcase.

It is in incredible condition for its age, and only has two dings in the wood (larger one under where the forearm rests). For those interested, this is the same guitar as used by "Big Steeve" Hurdle of Gorguts fame, and now Negativa. Does that have a Ft. Worth, Texas neck plate? (The black one in the pic is a Japanese Charvel, *not* a USA one.)

Sorry, I forgot to mention that it does have the Fort Worth neckplate.

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but if it's got a Ft. Worth neck plate, it's not a USA guitar. Don't get me wrong, it's worth your asking price in good shape - they're very high quality Japanese guitars, made in the same factory the Jackson Stars are now - but it's a common misconception. If it was a USA Charvel, it would a.) have a San Dimas, CA neck plate and b.) be worth 4-8 times what you're asking.

As I said, still a quality 6'er - I've owned a couple of the guitars from this series, and they're excellent guitars.

Oh, I didn't realize that. Bought it under the 'USA Made' guise, and figured the Ft. Worth plate was evidence.

I thought the neck plate signified that it was American. Somehow, the fact that there had to be an indication that it was made in San Dimas slipped my mind. My bad dude.

Like I said, they're excellent instruments - it's no knock on it at all. I'd highly recommend this guitar to someone looking for a sixer. A lot of people get confused by that plate...
