WTB: Engl Powerball Head (preferably a V2 head)

Hey guys the title says it all. But a quick sidenote: Has anyone here tried both a v1 and v2 powerball, i understand that the differences on paper are somewhat minimal such as a tighter noise gate (not that i would be relying on it for gating much in the first place), a logarithmic treble control vs the linear one on the v1, and they are supposed to not have the bug with the power tube fault light. As far as sound is concerned would you guys say it makes a difference for better or for worse or at all?

Either way im interested in a powerball head in good condition, so please if you can either send reply offers here or to thisfilter@hotmail.com

I had v1 for awhile the v2 is supposed to cut better and also has a better noise gate for the loop which got rid of most of the hiss and white noise. Personally I would get the v2. Call Derek at http://rocksolidamps.com/main.php

thanks for the info on the difference man! but i would much rather get a slightly used one since the ones at rocksolid are wayy overpriced. I just barely missed a v2 pball on bay WITH footswitch which was ended up selling for 1325 and in MINT condition. So im looking for something to match that basically!

I have a Powerball v2 and the other guitarist in my band has a v1. I would recommend the v2. It just sounds better, and the gate makes a hell of a difference.

If you'd settle for a v1, there's a guy on the Duncan forums with one for 1500 shipped, with footswitch.
