WTB Ibanez S7420FM with waves!

You would have even better luck getting an S body made or one like it from some one who can make an S body. Because finding S7s now-a-days are getting harder and harder.

well, the fretboard isn't a must. It was an idea I came up with after deciding that I wanted to change the finish on the body. I'm not really interested in keeping the flames if it will be impossible to take out the blue; I just want a wood-grain with dark tr red for the body. If I keep the fretboard, I'm going to dye the rosewood black to bring out the inlays and match the body better. I do happen to work for an Ibanez dealer though, and can get the Giger for a substantially lower price, though I'm not sure if its enough to justify for the fretboard alone. We shall see how sales for the next month or so go. Either way, still want the S7420FM-TW without question.

Tell you what, if you're not fussed about the flame top I'll swap you your flamed body for my black pearl one, as long as the flame body's in good nick. Hell, I'll even cover shipping both ways! That way you have a very good condition S7420 body to strip and stain and I get the FM body I really want.

Yeah I do but you're probably right. It sports the non AANJ which leaves you to search for an S 5407 style body. I think I might just hold onto it. I don't think it'll make it's way onto a body for quite some time.
