I thought this guitar would be appreciated...This is the guitar photographed in Schecter's 2006 Catalog. Yeah,that really nice man!
I would have prefered a nice dark rosewood or even Ebony for the fretboard though and i think the pickups would have to be changed.
The price is a bit painful though,but then i suppose it's a Custom Shop instrument and you only get what you pay for.

I'm liking the purpleheart neck-strip personally. It's supposed to be a great tone-wood to have as the core of a neck apparently.

That purple heart wood looks somewhat out of place to me. I don't like the grain too much on that guitar either. Though Koa can look very beautiful.

It's certainly a nice looking guitar, I'd rather have a tunomatic bridge but the 007 rocks \m/

Isn't the Schecter shop kind of expensive? They usually have really awesome grains, flame, etc. and stuff like that.

+1 on the lack of tunomatic bridge.

Schecter's custom shop is VERY expensive, just like Jackson or ESP. Noodles and I heard a rumor a few months ago from a 'well-placed source' that the Schecter custom shop basically doesn't exist anymore.

Does anybody remember the 36-fret 007 custom that Schecter had on its web site awhile back? If that were up for sale, I'd be busy figuring out which body parts would command the most $$ on the black market...

I merged these two, since they're both basically for sales for the same guitar.

JemHeaven, give the rules a quick once-over and then post up your asking price, ok? It's a rather attractive hunk of koa and all (is this the one DCGL has been selling basically forever?), but still, we have 'em in place for a reason, mate.
