The DC727's been around for a long time, so I probably can't offer much in the way of new information.

However, take note:

- Carvin's willingness to do something not off the set menu? A+. Execution: A+

- fit and finish is a 4.999 out of 5 only due to a few small things that my perfectionism can't let go, but there's not worth mentioning.

It's an absolutely beautiful instrument, and for the price, I don't think you can beat it.

Maple neck/alder body
Birdseye board and headstock overlay

Just one more thing would you recomend buying a dc747 /727 over a UV777PBK
