Post Agile Interceptor Pro 27"

Features: 5
Mahogany Body, 5pc neck though body construction, 27" baritone scale length, inlay-less ebony fretboard, 24 frets, EMG 707 active pickups, 3-way pickup switch, 1 volume, 1 tone, Reverse Headstock.

Sound: 5
This things tone is Epic! easily one of the best sounding guitars iv played. The EMGs and mahogany body work together perfectly. The big, thick and bright 707s have tons of presence and very sharp sound but when combined with the mahogany the tone is deadened slightly so its not super bright but still super clear and articulate sounding. Very cool. Although i wouldn’t recommend it for super fast necrophagist style tech death metal because of the pickups because they are very sensitive and it can be a bit messy. but if u tighten up your accuracy it isnt a problem.
Also i notice this guitar sounds ever-so-slightly darker than most mohogany+707 guitars iv played in the past. For metal, this is awesome i think. So much beefyness to the sound.

When playing Clean it can be a bit over powering, what with the 707s have a high output, and it gives you a slightly gainy sound. i find a bit less low and more high on the EQing sorts it right out though.

Action, Fit and Finish: 4
The only reason i havnt given this a 5 is because when i got it it had a 2nd E-string instead of a low B and the neck was all out of alignment and action was bad and so was the intonation as a result. basically need a full setup and badly. BUT after a set up i was amazed at how perfect the playability was. Lowest action iv ever played which is ideal for me. intonation was easy enough to setup also. setting it up took about an hour (while taking my time) and havnt had a single problem with it since.
The frets are not huge (which i prefer) but still find you hardly touch the board if, like me, you have a light touch style of playing.

Double cut-away super strat shape which is killer. perfectly balanced so when you let the guitar go the headstock doesn’t drop at all. Arch top not unlike Schecter Hellraisers etc. lower cut-away is ideally shaped to provide easy access to all 24 frets which, combined with the neck though design, is bloody awesome!

The neck is no Ibanez neck that’s for sure! It is alot thicker than most guitars iv played but is very VERY comfortable. somehow i find this guitar easier to play than any of my thin necked Ibanez’s (which i hardly even pick up anymore!)
has a very similar feel to the Schecter Hellraiser neck.
The super low action compensates the slightly thicker neck.

Reliability: 5
The licensed Floyd rose was a lil bit of a worry at first as they are said to be not as good as an Original Floyd but i have to say this is one of the most solid reliably Floyds iv used in a long time...
iv had it for a good few weeks now and after a restring i hardly even have to adjust the tuning. Even after quick heavy dive-bombs or Dimebag style squeals it holds steady!

Customer support: 5

Anyone who knows Kurt and Rondomusic will know how customer satisfaction is 100% GARENTIED

Overall Rating: 5!!!

I bought this guitar new for £300 ($600) and is an absolute steal! If i didnt know about Agile/Rondomusic i would guess this guitars price to be about £800+ ($1600ish) And that as a considerable price. By far the best guitar i have ever played. so much so im buying another one
