It costs $169 on ebay. It's made with an ash body, maple/rosewood neck, 22 frets, 2 humbuckers, 3-way switch, 3 knobs. And you don't bang your wrist when you play high.
So I ordered it a few months ago. It comes, and I learn the other specs they didn't tell you: bolt-on, 25.5" scale, knobs are vol/tone/tone, and one is a coil tap.
It twangs. It's got a "raw" sound that you either love or hate, similar to some I've heard from Danelectros and Teles. You can either work with this, using coil tap + bridge or both especially, or else work against it by turning the tone down on neck or both pickup settings.
The neck and fingerboard feel nice in your hands, but there's some buzz on the low string and an issue on the high frets (fret 20 isn't high enough on the high string so you might have issues getting the notes right

Long and short: one of the few ways you're going to get a 7-string with an ash/maple/rw sound without paying an arm and a leg is to get this instrument, and for what you pay, it's a pretty good deal. The sound to me is very raw and twangy -- would be at home in country, roots, and some classic rock (Zep/Stones/Rush etc).
