Guitar of the Month - Rules and Guidelines

Have you ever notice that there are some seriously nice guitars here? So have the mods. So, we've decided to start a Guitar of the Month (GotM) to celebrate everyone's favorite musician-based illness, GAS.

The mod staff is going to pick one for January to start off with. After that, it will all be based on what YOU want to see. Here is how it works:

The first two weeks of the month will be for nominations. Anyone can nominate a guitar. Each guitar can be nominated only once, and duplicates will be deleted. Just make a post in the "GotM for Month/Year" thread.
To be in contention, someone must second it. While each guitar can be nominated only once, it can be seconded any number of times. Please refrain from cluttering up these threads with discussion. If you like the guitar, just second it once by quoting the original post with a "+1" or the like and be done with it. Once again, duplicates will be deleted.
Nominations will be closed at the end of the second week. The mod staff will spend the next week compiling the top five choices, based upon which guitars recieved the most seconds.
The fourth week will be open to voting. The guitar that wins gets to spend the next month on the front page!

If you win, you need to provide us with several good photos of your guitar in JPEG format, along with a short description (how you aquired it, specs, etc).

Please limit this to unique guitars. I'm sure you love your 7621, but do you know how many people own that guitar? Now, if you repainted it some custom color and added piezos, then we'd love to see it.

NO NOMINATING YOUR OWN GUITAR!!!

1. Guidelines

No rallying whatsoever is allowed either here or externally. Basically, don't make new threads asking for votes.
Any complaints/questions should be forwarded via Private Message to the mods.
Nominations must be seconded by at least another member.
You cannot second your own guitar.
Nominations will be voided if it is not seconded.
GOTM winners will be posted on the front of the site for a month!
When nominating please post:
- A link to a thread with pictures.
- A short description of why you're nominating it.
- Preferably a picture of the guitar itself.
Every member may second up to a maximum of 3 nominated guitars. All 3 seconds should be made in a single post.

2. Poll Voting Guidelines

The 5 guitars what have the most seconded nominations will be placed in the poll in alphabetical order
The thread containing the poll will be closed to any replies.
You may only vote once.

3. Nomination Dates and Deadlines

Nominations take place the first starting week of every month and run for two weeks.
The third week will be used to tally up votes and seconds.
The last week of the month will be used for the vote.

If a guitar gets nominated in a particular month and doesn't get enough seconds to make the finals, can it be nominated again in a later month?

I just noticed a few guitars were getting nominated late and not getting many seconds, and might do well next time around.
