Hey I did this really rough bad recording of a song I wrote, using the v-amp pro I just got. I didnt really go for a good tone I just scooped the mids and cranked the treble. Its through my onboard soundcard which is pretty horrible, but im proud of the way it came out, I think it would be cool with some vocals and me playing in time a bit better. Tell me what you guys think and if youve got any recording tips. And also I used fruity loops for drums... horrible

I almost didn't though, because of the words in your post. It doesn't get me all hot-and-bothered to listen to something when you've already told me it's a bad recording, the playing's out of time, and the drums are horrible.

This goes out to anyone who wants to post video or audio for the purpose of criticism:

• Do the best you can with what you've got. No one will tear your head off because you don't have the greatest gear in the World.
• Don't make peoples' minds up for them.
• If you KNOW something is bad, then fix it before you upload it.

I guess it's just me, but I always do my VERY best. I simply won't release something to the world until I've maximized my talents to the fullest. Then, I let other people tell me what they think.

i've never really tryed to get the best recording out of my computer, mainly beacuse when I think im playing In time it comes out recorded out of time, which could be cause im playing out of time, but i think it has more to do with my soundcard. Anyway I actually like this recording, im not trying to make a profesional level recording im just trying to have fun. I think it came out cool, this is probably the best I can do at the moment. Anyway Thanks for listening
