I thought Buck Dharma laid down the coolest solo on this song! Everyone else sounded like they were trying to out-do each other. I may be wrong.

There are a few phrases toward the end of the solo that have stuck in my brain for years... starting at about 4:30 of this version of the video Brad Gillis' harmonic/whammy line, followed by Craig Goldy's really interesting arpeggio and Buck Dharma's solo.
But overall, the player whose tone and phrasing stood out the most was George Lynch's... when he does those awesome muting-and-pinch-harmonic runs, it's just so distinctive and unique. |

I love those old school solos. They totally rock
![]() If someone were to wear any of those clothes today though, you know what they'd be called?? Macho and power-hetero, like CQ. Damn I hate when Chris edits my posts... |

This is a great video. I love the part where Yngwie falls back in his chair.
There are two things that drive me crazy about this. The first is the fact that whoever made this didn't include most of the actual video for the guitar solos. I mean, damn, the camera was right there in the studio, why not include the real shots?? The other thing that bugs me is that the audio is obviously from a record. Is the master an acetate? I dunno... it's kind of got the nostalgia vibe with the pops and scratches at the end, but it still bugs me. |

Man that brings back memories. I still have the album and VHS somewhere. I've always loved that they have Spinal Tap in the Choir. |
